What is Perfectly Elastic?

Perfectly elastic is a term used in the hotel industry to describe the relationship between supply and demand.

In the very rare case in which the supply or demand of rooms changes without a change in the room price, the supply or demand of that room would be considered to be perfectly elastic.

Perfectly elastic is the opposite of perfectly inelastic.
